Relaxing lavender oil

Essential oil No. 2 lavender relaxes and cares for the mind. Lavender essential oil is steam-distilled from the plant’s flowering tips and it has a fresh and fruity scent. Lavender oil is known to reduce blood pressure, but it has also been used for sunburns, burns and small wounds. Lavender essential oil refreshes linen in a lovely way while providing a calming effect and making it easier to fall asleep. Above all, lavender has a calming effect.

SEES Essential oil No. 2 Lavender – Applications:

Helps with falling asleep. Place a few drops of lavender essential oil directly on the bed linen. If you wish to refresh the bed sheets and pillowcases entirely, you can mix a decilitre of water and 20 drops of lavender essential oil in a spray bottle. Note that the oil does not mix in with the water, so shake the spray bottle before each use.

For mood swings. It is said that people who work in lavender fields never have a headache. Lavender balances mood swings and in this way harmonises the entire body. Try lavender essential oil in a diffuser, i.e. the SEES Aroma stone, aroma lamp or humidifier to add balance and freshness to the home and disinfect the room air. Lavender also balances metabolism. For this reason, the multi-purpose lavender should be found in every home.

DIY lavender bath salt. Calm and relax in a lavender bath. A lavender bath, which is also suitable for children before going to sleep, relieves muscle tension and relaxes the mind. Add a few drops of lavender essential oil in a decilitre of Epsom salt. You can make your own pure shower gel by adding 7-10 drops of lavender essential oil in a handful of neutral shower gel.

Sauna.  Essential lavender oil is also suitable to be added in the water to be thrown on the sauna stove. Add 1-2 drops of oil in a scoopful of water and throw it directly on the sauna stove.

DIY lavender skin oil. Make a skin oil suitable for the entire body by adding lavender to a neutral skin oil (such as SEES No 3. Clean) according to the following ratio: two drops of essential oil in five millilitres of skin oil. The skin oil is also excellently suited as massaging oil.

Essential oil as a perfume. If you would like to make a chemical-free and natural oil perfume with lavender, mix approximately 15 drops of lavender with 10 millilitres of neutral skin oil. Apply to wrists and behind the ear, add more as necessary. The lovely essential oil relaxes the mind and is beneficial.
