Acne skin doesn’t need chemicals – essential oils cleanse

Greasy and problematic acne skin doesn’t need chemicals. Nature’s own miracle ingredients, lavender and tea tree essential oils, effectively dry spots and pimples from the skin while disinfecting impurities.

Tea tree essential oil is a centuries-old naturally antibacterial natural medicine. Tea tree essential oil can be used to treat minor skin ulcers, inflammations, pimples, nail fungus, warts and cold sores. Tea tree oil can be used undiluted in small amounts directly on the skin or diluted over a wider area. For acne-prone skin, try dipping the end of a cotton bud in tea tree oil and gently pressing it onto the pimples. If the problem area is more extensive, mix a few drops of tea tree essential oil with water and wipe the skin with a homemade toner. Greasy skin needs daily cleansing and maintenance.

Lavender essential oil is known as a scar preventative and also for its antibacterial properties to prevent inflammation. Lavender has a pore tightening effect and is suitable for cleansing and balancing the oil content of the skin. Lavender is ideal for evening routines, as its scent relaxes you and helps you fall asleep. Put a few drops of lavender oil in a base oil (such as SEES No. 3 Unscented) and moisturise the skin. Multi-purpose lavender is also a mind soother as such, in the corner of a pillowcase or in the wash of a bed sheet.

Here are some simple instructions for using lavender essential oil:

Lavender body oil:

Add a splash of base oil to your palm and a few drops of lavender essential oil directly onto it. Massage into the body, especially in the evening, as lavender is soothing.

Mosquito repellent:

Put a drop of lavender in your hair or the size tag at the neck of your shirt. Works not only as a wonderful natural perfume, but also as a mosquito repellent. The best and cleanest summer scent!

Hand soap and shower gel:

For a fragrance-free hand soap or shower gel, add 5-10 drops of lavender directly into the finished product for a lovely, naturally antiseptic and fresh scent. No chemicals and the mind relaxes while in the shower and washing your hands.

Acne skin treatment and pimples:

Put a splash of lukewarm water in the bottom of a mug and add a few drops of lavender essential oil. Dampen a cotton pad in the homemade face wash and wipe onto problem areas, such as the back. Avoid getting lavender in your eyes.
